Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Entry Beijing
Up your arrival, our English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from Tianjin Port and transfer to hotel in Beijing. The rest of the day is free time.
Day 2 Beijing (B/L)
Come to the Beijing city center. Visit the Tiananmen Square, symbol of both Beijing and China. Then move on to the nearby Forbidden City imperial palace, also called the Palace Museum. After lunch, go to the old Beijing Hutong are to explore old Beijing lifestyle. You will take an interesting rickshaw ride through the narrow alleys and courtyard houses, as well as drop by a local Hutong family.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L/D)
First visit the majestic Temple of Heaven, where emperors held grand sacrifice ceremonies to heaven for good harvest. If you could start early morning, you could have chance to watch locals exercise, practice martial arts, play traditional instruments. Then drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. It is a less-crowded section of the Great Wall and features the most spectacular views.
Beijing speciality-Peking Duck dinner is arranged at the famous Quanjude Restaurant.
Day 4 Beijing-Xian (B/L)
Finish our final sightseeing in Summer Palace, the beautiful royal garden with pavilions, corridors, lakes and hills. A pleasant lake cruise is included.
Fly to Xian, home of the world wonder – Terracotta Warriors. Arrive in Xian; airport to hotel transfer by local guide and driver.
Day 5 Xian (B/L)
Today we will witness one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, the Terracotta Warriors. The life-size ‘underground army’ is so imposing! After lunch, drive back downtown to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a beautiful Buddhist architecture top of which offers the best panoramic view over Xi’an.
Day 6 Xian-Shanghai (B/L)
Shaanxi History Museum is a first-rate national museum, a perfect overview of Chinese history and not to be missed. The ancient Xian City Wall is symbol of Xian and a perfect place to view the city. An interesting cycle ride at the Wall is arranged. Come to the Muslim Street, a famous street for local snacks and souvenirs.
Fly to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai; airport to hotel transfer by local guide and driver.
Day 7 Shanghai (B/L)
Let’s visit the best attractions in Shanghai. The Yuyuan Garden is one of the most beautiufl Suzhou style classic gardens in China. The Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall is an amazing display of the development and future of Shanghai. The world’s fifth tallest building –Shanghai World Financial Center offers fantastic bird’s view of Shanghai. The Bund retails its colonial charm with different foreign style buildings.
Day 8 Depart Shanghai (B)
Free on your own leisure until be transferred to the Shanghai airport for departure.
