Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Enter Beijing
Our private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your cruise at Tianjin Port and transfer you safely to the your hotel in Beijing. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 2 Beijing (B/L)
Morning visit to the two symbolic attractions in the city center-Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City imperial palace nearby. After lunch, immerse yourself in the beautiful royal garden-Summer Palace.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L)
Winess the world wonter-the Great Wall of China. We will visit Mutianyu Great Wall, a less crowded section featuring spectacular views. Back downtown to visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors held sacrifice ceremony to heaven for good harvest.
Day 4 Beijing-Xian (B/L)
Come to the old Hutong area to explore old style Beijing life. Take an interesting rickshaw ride along the narrow alleys and pay a visit to a local Hutong family.
After lunch, fly to Xian. Our guide and driver will pick you up at Xian airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 5 Xian (B/L)
Visit the world wonder in Xian, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the life-size Terracotta Army. Back downtown to visit the beautiful Buddhist architecture-Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is often taken as symbol of Xian.
Day 6 Xian (B/L)
Enjoy a Taichi experience on the ancient City Wall. Every morning, local people will go cycling, doing exercise or strolling on the City Wall. Later, learn more about Chinese history and culture at the Shaanxi History Museum. Then move on to the Forest of Stele Museum, which holds a large collection of the earliest stone steles and sculptures of different dynasties.
Day 7 Xian-Lhasa (B/L)
Fly to Lhasa. Upon arrival, airport pickup and transfer to hotel. For the rest of the day, take some time to acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 8 Lhasa (B/L)
Visit the classic attractions in downtown Lhasa. The Potola Palace is a great masterpiece of Tibetan architecture. The Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims. Barkhor Street offers you a glance at the daily life of the locals.
Day 9 Lhasa (B, L)
Continue your sacred Lhasa journey. In Lhasa, the famous monasteries are a must. We will visit the two main ones-Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery. In addition, visit Norbulingka, a beautiful garden which enjoy’s the reputation as Tibet’s Summer Palace.
Day 10 Lhasa-Chongqing (B/L)
Fly to Chongqing; Chongqing airport to hotel transfer.
Day 11 Chongqing-Yangtze Cruise (B/L)
It will be a pleasant journey to see the beautiful mountain city-Chonqing before the Yangtze Cruise. Visit the Chongqing Zoo, where you could see the cute pandas. Then visit the Ciqiou Old Town and the Three Gorges Museum.

Day 12 Yangtze Cruise (B/L/D)
Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia and the mother river of South China. A Yangtze River Cruise will take you through the three gorges and to the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang City. The gorgeous scenery along the way will impress you a lot.
Day 13 Yangtze Cruise (B/L/D)
Shore excursions to Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Shennong Stream. Return to the cruise after the visit.
Day 14 Yichang-Shanghai (B)
Finish the cruise in Yichang city. Visit the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydropower station in the world.
Fly to Shanghai; Shanghai airport to hotel transfer.
Day 15 Shanghai (B/L)
Ascend the Oriental Pearl TV Tower at nearly 500 meters high to have an amazing panorama of the city. Walk through Shanghai’s Old Alleys to trace Shanghai’s old life. After lunch visit the enchanting Suzhou style garden, Yuyuan Garden. Afterwards, visit the Bund waterfront, featuring impressive foreign style buildings of the city’s colonial period.
Day 16 Depart Shanghai (B)
Be transferred to Shanghai airport for departure. Thanks for using our service.
