Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Enter Beijing

Pick you up in time from Tianjin cruise port and transfer to hotel in Beijing by our private English-speaking guide and driver.

Day 2 Beijing (B/L)    
Morning tour at Temple of Heaven, a majestic imperial architecture where emperors made sacrifice ceremony to heaven for good harvest. Drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall. This wall section boasts the most beautiful scenery and is less crowded. Round way cable car are included.

Day 3 Beijing (B/L)    
Morning tour in the city center. Visit the Tiananmen Square and then walk to the nearby imperial palace-The Forbidden City. After lunch, go to Hutong neighbourhood to explore old Beijing life. You will take a fresh rickshaw ride as well as pay a visit to local Hutong family to see their traditional courtyard house.

Day 4 Beijing-Xian (B/L)    
Spend a pleasant morning in the beautiful Summer Palace royal garden.
Fly to Xian; upon arrival, Xian airport to hotel transfer.

Day 5 Xian (B/L)    
Let’s visit the most famed attraction in Xian –Terracotta Warriors. It is so imposing to stand before the grand life-size underground army. Back downtown to visit the Ancient City Wall. The top provides good views of the city. You can opt to cycle on the wall, a lot of fun (bike rental fee excluded).

Day 6 Xian-Dunhuang (B/L)
Visit the beautiful symbolic attraction of old Xian-Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The graceful Buddhist architecture is perfect for photos.
Fly to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, Dunhuang airport to hotel transfer.

Day 7 Dunhuang (B/L)  
Begin our trip in this kingdom of sand. First, visit the Mogao Grottoes, known as the Caves of the Thousand Buddhas, a UNESCO World Heritage. Move on to the Singing Sand Mountains to hear sand dunes play their tunes. Stoll to the beautiful Crescent Spring, an osis in the desert. Riding a camel on the desert of the Singing Sand Mountains is a great experience.

Day 8 Dunhuang-Turpan (B/L)
Visit the other main attractions in Dunhuang, including the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty & Yumenguan Pass, the Desert Discovery at Yadan Landform Park with vivid rocks in various shapes like animals or world famous attractions.
Transfer to Dunhuang railway to catch the overnight soft-sleeper train to Turpan.

Day 9 Turpan (B/L)
Arrive in Turpan; Turpan train station pickup and then start the journey here. The Karez Wells, the unique water system invented by Turpan people. Turpan owes its prosperity to the water provided by its karez well system. The Ruins of the Ancient City of Jiaohe was built in the Qin Dynasty (221–206 BC) and the Han Dynasty (206 BC–220 AD). It is a good vantage point for seeing the surrounding landscape of vineyards and orchards followed by desert and mountains. Turpan is famous for growing grapes and we will arrange a visit to a local family run vineyard.

Day 10 Turpan-Urumqi-Kashgar (B/L)
Take our private car to Urumqi. Take a boat cruise on the Heavenly Lake, a beautiful blue mountain lake.  After the tour, fly to Kashgar; upon arrival, airport to hotel transfer in Kashgar.

Day 11 Kashgar (B/L)    
Experience the Muslim life of Xinjiang people. Come to the Zhiren Street, an old street with an amazing range of goods being crafted for sale by hand, from cookware to exotic musical instruments, and even incredible wooden objects that prevent babies from wetting the bed. Stroll to the nearby Id Kah Mosque. This 15th century mosque is one of the largest and busiest in China. Then come to Bazaar. Famous throughout Asia, this ancient market attracts locals and merchants from all over Xinjiang and nearby countries such as Pakistan and Kirghizstan.

Day 12 Kashgar-Urumqi (B/L)    
Visit the Lake Karakuli, a sparking glacial lake located at the foot of “the Father of Glaciers” – Muztagata Mountains. A railway connecting China with Pakistan goes by the lake.
Fly back to Urumqi; airport to hotel transfer in Urumqi.

Day 13 Urumqi-Shanghai (B/L)     
Fly to Shanghai. Go to old city of Shanghai to visit Yuyuan Garden, a Suzhou-style classic garden and the Yuyuan Market/Chenghuangmiao Bazzar surrounded it.

Day 14 Shanghai (B/L)    
Visit the Bund, a famous waterfront with characteristic colonial buildings in different foreign style. Ascend the Oriental Pearl TV Tower for an amazing bird’s view of the city. Come to Xintiandi, an leisure area featuring traditional Shikumen houses that were transformed into restaurants, boutiques, bars and cafes.

Day 15 Depart Shanghai (B)
Be transferred to Shanghai airport for departure. Thanks for using our service.
