Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Enter Beijing
Our private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your cruise at Tianjin Port and transfer you safely to your hotel in Beijing. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 2 Beijing (B/L)
Our tour today, includes Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Beijing Hutong. Tiananmen Square is of great historical significance to China, therefore symbol of China. Nearby the square, is the Forbidden City, a world reputed palace of Chinese 24 emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties. The Hutong tour gives an insight into old Beijing life. A Hutong rickshaw ride leads you to the old alleys and courtyard houses. Also call at a local Hutong family to explore more.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L)
Visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperor sacrifice to God in heaven for a good harvest. An early morning visit gives the chance to watch locals exercise there. Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. The section of Great Wall is well-known for its beautiful surrounding landscapes and the peculiar wall shapes integrated with the steep mountains.
Day 4 Beijing-Xian (B/L)
It is pleasant to spend the fresh morning in the beautiul royal gaden, Summer Palace. You will also take a boat ride across the lake.
Then leave for airport and fly to Xian. Our guide and driver will pick you up at Xian airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 5 Xian (B/L)
Start your morning at the ancient Xian City Wall, which offers panorama of the city. You have the option to cycle at the top of the Wall. Then go to visit the most famous Xian attraction-The Terra cotta Warriors. These 6000 life-size painted terracotta warrior and horses have been protecting the mausoleum of the first emperor in Chinese history- Emperor Qinshihuang for 2,200 years.
After lunch back downtown to visit the Shaanxi History Musuem to learn more about China history.
Day 6 Xian-Chongqing-Yantze River (B/L)
After breakfast, fly to Chongqing, the mountain city to take the Yangtze Cruise. Visit the Ciqikou Old Town and the Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing. Afterwards, go to board the cruise ship in Yangtze River.
Day 7 Yangtze Cruise (B/L/D)
Have an excursion tour to the Fengdu Ghost City. The mist and cloud enhances the surreal atmosphere. Here you will learn about the different Chinese ghost culture.
Tonight the ship’s crew will offer you a formal welcome banquet and an optional party with great food and drink.
Day 8 Yantze Cruise (B/L)
Today’s excursion leads you deep into the gorge. You will take the small boats to see the narrow beautiful gorges, which is a close way to touch with the nature.
Day 9 Yichang-Shanghai (B)
The ship arrive in Yichang city, where you will have the chance to visit the Three Gorges Dam, the largest water containment project ever undertaken.
In the afternoon, fly to our last stop-Shanghai. Upon arrival, Shanghai airport to hotel transfer.
Day 10 Shanghai (B/L)
Ascend the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which offers a breathtaking panorama of the city at nearly 500m. Walk though Shanghai’s Old Alleys to find the traces of old Shanghai life. After lunch, take a relaxing stroll in the beautiful Suzhou style Yuyuan Garden of the Ming Dynasty. Finally, visit the Bund, a must-see colonial waterfront area that records Shanghai’s past.
Day 11 Depart Shanghai (B)
Today Arrangement: Free at your own leisure till your transfer to airport for departure.
